About Us
National Defense Society was founded in the summer of 2024 by Cian Mansfield and a few other students at Purdue University with a vision to create a student organization dedicated to preparing students for a career in national defense and security. Since, NDS@Purdue has reached over 1000 students and already hosted several distinguished visitors, careers fairs, and developed technical projects for its members. NDS itself has expanded to the national level as a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization with Purdue as the first chapter.
